Alrighty! So I visited an Amish restaurant for lunch on Friday and then enjoyed a home cooked meal with our family friends for Friday night. I only have a picture of lunch but I went to the Der Dutchman restaurant.
Now this restaurant was interesting because you can choose to do the buffet or choose a meal from the menu. I decided to do the chicken because when I saw the buffet I didn’t see any Mac n cheese but it was listed on the menu as a side item. Of course I went for Mac n cheese. This “broasted” chicken was interesting. It literally looks like fried chicken but it was marinated and roasted. Quite delicious!
Saturday lunch I had Skyline Chili and got their 3-way. Apparently I should have gotten the 5-way with onions and beans. I’d never had chili with spaghetti so an interesting concept. Now I’ll have to try their rivalry Gold Star.
And there we have it. We’ve only got 2 more states til I get to Florida since I’m writing this from Kentucky. I didn’t particularly stop anywhere for food but I will for sure in Tennessee and Georgia. So let me know in the comments below if you recommend anywhere in those two states. Until then…signing off!
