Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Saturday and I hope you’re having a great weekend. Today’s post is my experimental cooking and it went phenomenal. But before we get started, remember to click subscribe so you don’t miss another Foodie Fun 🤩
Alrighty, so a few weeks ago, I bought a piece of flank steak on sale and I knew I had to try making some carne Asada. I asked around if anyone had some good recipes and I was recommended the one that I linked here. Now the only thing different I did was cut out the cilantro and jalapeños it added cumin, chili lime seasoning and paprika to the mix. I forgot about oregano. Oops.

We seared the steaks to a medium rare in the cast iron and made tacos with them. Some peppers and onions, cheese, salsa, guac and sour cream and a football 🏈 game hit the spot. Unfortunately my team lost that night but the food was good and that made my day.
Let me know in the comments below what recipe I should try next and until then…signing off!
