Weekly Trader Joe’s Haul!

Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Saturday everyone and I hope you’re having a great weekend so far. As always, I stopped by Trader Joe’s on my way home from work yesterday to pick up things for the week. There’s a few items that I’ll run to Publix for this morning but I was able to get just about everything on my list. So without further ado, remember to click subscribe so you don’t miss another Foodie Fun 🤩

Alrighty! Here was this week’s haul!

Weekly Haul
  • White Cheddar Corn Puffs – I’ve walked by this enough the last few weeks I finally grabbed a bag. I still have the corn chips from last week because I don’t go through snack foods as fast as Hubby.
  • Kidney, Great Northern Beans – for chili. This is going to be my main meal prep for the week
  • Garbanzo Beans – I fully enjoyed roasted chickpeas last week for a snack. This time I’ll roast them slightly longer since not all of them got crunchy enough for me
  • Tomato Paste, Diced Tomatoes – also for the chili. I’m going to freeze what’s left of the paste. I don’t have an ice cube tray though. Those actually come in handy when you are freezing tomato paste or herb butters or broth cubes. I might make shepherds pie at some point to use the tomato paste some more
  • Strawberry Kefir – baby boy still loves this it seems like. I do a bowl of Rice Krispies with this kefir and a handful of chopped strawberries
  • Chicken Breakfast Sausage – we’ll give this product a try for breakfast meal prep. I’m going to do pancakes, eggs and these sausages
  • Banana – half a banana with plain green yogurt is a perfect high protein with carb snack for me
  • Tuscan Melon – I had this a couple weeks ago and it was so yummy I grabbed another one. I’m just about done with the watermelon from the other day too.l
  • Bell Peppers – for the chili
  • Asparagus – I’m just about finished with the green beans from last week so I’ll cook these off so I have an easy side for the week
  • Cucumber – I didn’t eat cucumbers at all last week that my baby cukes had molded. I’m going to slice up these cucumbers so I’m forced to eat them so I don’t wasted them 😂
  • Green Onions – and I got a new bag of green onions since I was just about out. They make such a great garnish for Japanese food

And there we have it! Let me know in the comments below what you picked up at your Trader Joe’s and until then…signing off!
