Trader Joe’s Haul!

Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Saturday everyone and I hope you’re having a great weekend so far. Today I’ll be sharing two separate Trader Joe’s hauls since I did this over last weekend and near the end of the week. Alrighty! Let’s check out haul #1:

TJ Haul #1
  • Cut White Corn – I always like to have this on hand when I don’t want to open a can of corn for salads
  • Salted Edamame – a quick side dish when I make Japanese food
  • Avocado – for the guac I made this week for my Copycat Chipotle Bowl. I also used some for my salad this week
  • Organic Romaine Lettuce – for my salads
  • Red Seedless Grapes – these couple of weeks grapes have been my best friend. It’s a 2lb container so hopefully I can finish without letting them go bad
  • Sliced White Mushrooms – I used some of this for the Copycat Chipotle Bowl and I’ve saved some for the Spinach Mushroom Quiche I’m going to make over the weekend
  • Strawberry Low Fat Kefir – I drank this just about every day; it’s my new favorite thing. You’ll see in the next haul that I ended up buying 2 more bottles 🤣
  • Lime – to season the guac and Chipotle Bowl
  • Laughing Cow Cheese – one of my snacks for the week with cucumber or crackers
  • Whipped Cream Cheese – I used the last container for my Salmon Dip and Greek Yogurt Cheesecakes
  • Heavy Cream – I attempted to make Alfredo sauce since I wanted to do chicken Alfredo. It didn’t happen. I can use this with the quiche
  • Minced Garlic – Hubby will be here soon and he likes using this
  • Black Beans – for the Chipotle Bowl and I also used them in salads this week
  • Rainbow Peppercorn – this was the only grinder I was missing from when I moved so I replenished
  • Fusilli Pasta – again my attempt at trying to make pasta. I ended up just eating Chicken with Rice and Veggies
TJ Haul #2
  • Eggs – for the week since I’ll be meal prepping some quiche
  • Tofu – I’ve been going through 1 container of tofu every week
  • Organic Romaine Lettuce – for next weeks salads
  • Low Fat Strawberry Kefir (x2) – yup I’m addicted
  • Wild Alaskan Pink Salmon – I might make another batch of salmon dip again for snacks
  • Organic Spinach – for the quiche and whatever I don’t use, I’ll figure something out
  • Organic Cumin – so I got a spice rack with prefilled containers of spices but they didn’t have cumin so I was missing this when I made my slow cooked beef for my Chipotle bowl this past week
  • Organic Cinnamon – I’ll be making some banana bread for work
  • Bananas – bananas for banana bread
  • Tomato – and my tomato for the week
  • Baby Carrots – Hubby will be here so I got this. I got hummus at another store
  • Zucchini – a veggie for a dinner one night. Probably with salmon on Monday
  • Haricot Verts – I like this thinner green beans; it gives it a nice crunch when you blanch or roast it
  • Lemon – I’ll be doing salmon and also I wanted to do flavored water with frozen berries and lemon
