Alrighty! So from Tuesday, I drove from Idaho all the way into West Yellowstone for a 7-8 hr drive including my pit stops. Cats did alright; Mochi might have been super exhausted 🐱
Got to see some bison along the way and I stayed at Yellowstone Lodge. And oh my goodness! There was so much snow!!! I couldn’t believe it! Apparently it snows 10 out of 12 months 😱
Dinner was at Canyon Street Grill and I wast very hungry so a bowl of chili hit the spot! Across from the grill was a little gift shop where the nice lady and I talked for a bit.
Next morning, I went to see Old Faithful, Mystic Falls and the Grand Prismatic Overlook. Basically lost cell service for the entire day but enjoyed some nice Idaho trout at the Log Cabin Cafe.
Anyhow, the Airbnb was nice; no tv, internet, phone service…just a place to sleep. I’ll be driving through Wyoming, South Dakota and Minnesota the next couple of days so let me know in the comments below if you’ve been there and until then…signing off!
