Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Thursday and where did the week go? It’s already the weekend and already at the end of February 😯 Which means it’s going to be gardening season soon! So remember to click subscribe so you don’t miss another Foodie Fun 🤩
Alrighty! So jumping right in; last season, we planted things late so I was still picking green tomatoes in October when I wish I was canning homemade marinara sauce. So I figured we would start early this year to clean up from last season. I already planted the red, purple and sweet potatoes since they can live in the ground for a while. There was also a poor forgotten bulb of garlic that sprouted so we planted those individual cloves. We also moved some of the bigger herbs to another planter and kept the smaller ones in the original planter.

Lastly, did you know that broccoli and cauliflower comes back like a perennial? Yes, we saw new growth so we put those in one planter since they were separate last year.

And there you have it! We’re going through a cold front this week so I’ll get to sprouting next weekend or the following. Let me know in the comments below what your garden consists of this year and until then…signing off!
