Restocking the Kitchen Part 2!

Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! Happy Thursday and we are almost to the weekend. Today’s part 2 restock is (you guessed it!) everyone’s favorite Costco and Trader Joe’s haul! So remember to click subscribe so you don’t miss another Foodie Fun 🤩

Clearly one of my cats, Mochi, wanted to be in the picture so she had to photo bomb me!

Costco
  • Noosa Variety Pack (12 count) – I know I just bought yogurt at Fred Meyer but I can never find the smaller containers of Noosa yogurt so I ended up buying this one since it was on sale. These will make great snacks for me when I work late and need a snack between lunch and dinner
  • Kirkland Flavored Sparkling Waters – Hubby’s waters; we never know when this one and my vitamin waters are out of stock so we make it a point to purchase a case every time
  • Kirkland Vitarain Water – my flavored waters; I do like the flavor of these compared to the name brand. Plus they’re sugar free
  • Seeds of Change Brown Rice and Quinoa – these make great side dishes when you don’t have any rice cooked…or if I’m being lazy
  • Kirkland Chicken Stock – I made a lot of soups and chilis this winter so I got a new case. It’s still cold so soups and chilis will definitely be on the menu
  • Meat and Cheese Snacks – Hubby requested these; he loved it when he bought these when we were on vacation last year. We looked for these all over but they had been out of stock at our Costco’s for a hot minute
  • Always Pads – I don’t particularly buy these at Costco but they happened to be on sale in this month’s sale book. I did the math and buying these here in bulk was cheaper
  • Ziploc Freezer Quart Bags – now that we bought a brand new freezer, I can freeze more stuff!! These were on sale as well
  • Disposable Foil Containers – now time to make a bunch of freezer meals! The new freezer had bins included so I can dedicate the shelves of the old freezer for freezer meals. Stay tuned for when I make a whole bunch!
  • Irish Pub Beer – Hubby’s request. These came with 20 some beers
Brand New Freezer! (Right)

Check out our brand new freezer on the right. Slightly smaller but it came with bins so each type of protein found a spot for themselves. I cleaned out the old one too and reorganized our freezers (including the one inside the house). Stay tuned for a more detailed post on this soon!

Trader Joe’s
  • Mango Chunks – I finally ate all that was in the freezer; I’ve been pre-portioning these and taking them to work as snacks. In the summer, they keep my white wine cold because they act like ice cubes
  • Colorful Carrot Coins – one of Hubby’s favorite frozen veggies from Trader Joe’s. I’ve shared these several times in my TJ hauls
  • Red Blend Wine – for Hubby
  • Cuisine Adventures French Onion Soup – an easy lunch idea for me with a salad and a little bit of protein
  • Fish Sticks – they were out of my chicken nuggets so I went with the fish sticks instead. Sometimes I’ll make cheater’s fish tacos with these
  • Baby Carrots – we bought some hummus so definitely need something to dip them in
  • Whipped Cream Cheese – I plan to use what’s left of the cream cheese for White Chicken Chili so I bought some more for Hubby and Roomie’s bagels
  • Hummus Dip – this one is the original hummus
  • Three Layer Hummus – Hubby wanted to try this hummus since we still had pita chips from Christmas in the pantry
  • Blood Oranges – these are seasonal and Hubby requested these again
  • Minced Garlic – we were completely out so we had been going through our fresh garlic. But now the fresh is almost gone, it was easier to grab one while we were here. These are great on homemade pizzas or if you don’t feel like crushing up garlic
  • Creamy Unsalted Peanut Butter – I always have backup in my pantry and since I just opened a new one, I grabbed one on this trip

And there we have it! Let me know in the comments below what you picked up at Costco and TJs and until then…signing off!
