Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! I hope everyone had a good weekend and having a good week so far. I had the opportunity to go fishing again and i just wanted to blog on that today. Before we get started, remember to click that subscribe button so you don’t miss another Foodie Fun 🤩
Alrighty! So Hubby and I were invited to go fishing again with his fishing buddy on Saturday. Now I wouldn’t catch a big ole fish like I did last October but this time we would get smaller fish called Kokanee. I spent most of the day sleeping on the boat while trying to stay warm in front of the heater and waking up for fish bites.

We caught 7 and I got 4 out of the 7. This was taken at home after I washed and cleaned all of them. Can’t wait to cook with these Kokanee! I’ve seen grilled, baked, roasted etc. I believe I just treat it like salmon or trout when cooking with Kokanee.
We were also treated to the most gorgeous rainbow 🌈 on the water. It was bank to bank and so pretty. We caught our last three fish after we saw these rainbows. There was no pot of gold (probably the leprechauns stole it) but luck was definitely on our side!

Let me know in the comments below if you have ever been fishing and if you have, what is the greatest number of fish you’ve caught in a day. Until then… signing off!
