Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post on ~Foodie with a Passion~! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend and ready to start the week with me again. Before we dive into today’s post, don’t forget to subscribe to this blog so you don’t miss another Foodie Fun!

Alrighty! So first good news is that we have found our venue for our wedding next year. Technically this will be like a vow renewal since we will be getting married next month at our church because this will solve a lot of problems for us and especially with the current pandemic. But the venue is absolutely gorgeous and you get the best of both worlds – forest/mountains and beach/water. I can’t wait!!

Now, tis the season for PUMPKIN 🎃 because it’s almost Halloween and pumpkin screams fall 🍂 And this is the only time I make my famous pumpkin chocolate chip cookies because PUMPKIN 🎃 😆 Actually one of my classmates back in college made these for a potluck one time and I kind of fell in love with this recipe and I inherited to make every year. It’s already the end of October and I hadn’t made these cookies this season yet so we definitely needed to remedy that.

Ready to Bake
Fresh out of the Oven!

I linked the recipe above but it seems to have been updated. I cut the granulated sugar to 1/3 cup and omit the pumpkin spice. These cookies will expand so I highly recommend making small scoops unless of course you like gigantic cookies. But as I’m diabetic I like my small cookies 🍪 for blood sugar purposes 😂

Let me know in the comments below what your famous seasonal recipe is and if you try these cookies yourself. Until then… signing off!!
